Resources for Grieving Parents

Who is Eligible

Families coping with the loss of a child (up to 27 years old) and struggling with financial pressures during their time of grief.

Priority funding given to Minnesota and Wisconsin residents where local relationships exist.

Experienced the death of a child or a child is missing within the last 12 months.

 Immediate financial assistance is needed directly related to the loss of the child.

How We Can Help

. Assistance may be granted for needs such as but not limited to:

Individual/family counseling (consider Brighter Days Family Grief Center and The Grief Club of Minnesota).

Funeral/cremation services

Life expenses where need is directly related to the loss of a child.

Search-related operating costs for missing children paid directly to search firms.

Gift payments will likely be made directly to third parties.

One of the partners we refer gift recipients to is Faith’s Lodge, a dedicated retreat facility for families to find hope and strength while coping with the death of a child.

We are also partners with the Soft Landings program for bereaved parents at the Brighter Days Family Grief Center and will refer gift recipients to. https://brighterdaysgriefcenter.org/soft-landings/
