About Bryce’s Blessings
Troy & Carina Borca founded Bryce’s Blessings after their beloved son, Bryce went missing on October 30, 2022. Wanting to honor their son in a way in which he would love, Troy & Carina started the nonprofit with a goal of supporting other parents and families navigating the grief of losing a child.
Bryce’s Story
Troy and Carina Borca welcomed their second son, Bryce, into the world on June 15, 1999. While growing up in Minnesota, his first love was his family and his remarkable group of lifelong friends. It was through these relationships that he grew into a kind, gentle and empathetic soul who made people feel better just by being around him. Many of the people he impacted were at a local school where he taught and mentored young children who adored “Mr. Bryce.”
In life’s ultimate heartbreak, Bryce went missing on October 30, 2022. While the search for answers continues, we are lifted up by our faith and the stories retold by so many on the impact Bryce has had on their lives.
Bryce’s story has not ended, and his impact will live on in many ways, including through his foundation, Bryce’s Blessings. We are thankful for our too-short time with him and blessed to know and feel the impact he has had and will continue to have on so many around us.

The Borca’s did their first and only media interview to date with WCCO in Minneapolis to help raise awareness of who Bryce is, the status of the search for answers and how they are honoring him by putting purpose into pain through helping other parents navigate similar heartbreak.
