One thousand one hundred ninety-three days ago, our world changed forever - we lost our beautiful Bryce. Those who were blessed to know him personally—and those who have come to know him through Bryce’s Blessings—know his heart: gentle, compassionate, steady in his willingness to listen, and quick to offer support. It was that enduring pull of Bryce’s spirit that led us to create this foundation—starting with modest expectations and little sense of just how far his impact could reach.
With deep gratitude and humble hearts, we are honored to share a milestone that belongs to every family member, friend, partner, and donor who has walked alongside us and Bryce’s Blessings.
Together, and in less than three years, we have now provided $1,000,000 in support to bereaved parents and families navigating the unimaginable pain of losing a child.
Every dollar represents more than financial assistance. It is:
- A funeral or other life expense made possible when a family had nowhere else to turn.
- A counseling session that helped a parent take one small step toward healing.
- A retreat weekend where grieving families found common understanding, community, and hope.
- A connection in the Soft Landings program that will walk beside a newly bereaved family through the early days and months of deep grief.
- A search effort strengthened (including partnering with Minnesota K9 Search Specialists (MNK9SS), a Minnesota-based search and rescue organization, to fund expansion of a much-needed K9 team. The pup is named “Bacro”, a name created by Bryce in some of his artwork).
Thank you for believing in this mission and for helping us reach one million dollars in impact. We will continue to honor every child's memory and every family's story by walking beside bereaved parents with practical help, gentle care, and steadfast hope for what healing can look like - one family at a time.
We are deeply grateful for your support that enables us to reach parents facing unimaginable hardships. Thank you for celebrating Bryce with us and allowing his spirit to continue touching lives. We trust he's in Heaven pointing down at us and saying "they're the ones continuing my story......"
